OBJECTIVE OF TREATMENT
• Remove oil and suspended solids from synthetic water to less than 5 ppm
• Recover valuable oxy-compounds, recycle water and improve product quality.

BACKGROUND & CHALLENGES
Coal gasification, CTL direct or indirect liquefaction and catalyzed synthesis of petroleum are recognized as advanced technologies wildly being applied in the new energy industry, which produces wastewater that contains a lot of hydrocarbon compounds and oxy-compounds. In this project, Fischer–Tropsch process is applied, and in order to recover valuable oil, recycle water and improve production ability and quality, LAND ECO was appointed by owner to design and supply oil separation system.
LAND ECO SOLUTION
According to the analysis data of wastewater, the solubility of oil in wastewater could be enhanced due to the existing of oxy-compounds, which causes the difficult separation of oil from water. Based on the coarse graining and wetting coalescent theory, and with the data collected from pilot test, LAND ECO designed, engineered and supplied the oil water separation system, with a set of three-stage GOS oil separator units, using patented technology and specific modified coalescing cartridges.
